The restored Roman bathhouse in the basement is a vivid reminder of the city's rich past and adds an unparalleled allure to the property. The rooms, while elegantly designed, catered to my every need, boasting thoughtful amenities like air conditioning, a mini-bar. the rooftop terrace, although not extensively used during my visit due to the summer heat, promised captivating views of Plovdiv and the surrounding mountains. Although the hotel lacks some traditional upscale features like express check-in or beauty treatments, the genuine hospitality of the staff more than compensates for it. the team's attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile were truly commendable. While Villa Flavia may not offer all the bells and whistles of a high-end luxury hotel, its value proposition lies in its rich historical setting, personalized service, and central location. For a memorable stay that won't break the bank, Villa Flavia Heritage Boutique is a solid choice for travelers seeking a unique and authentic experience in Plovdiv.
